Solidus is searching for a Senior Circuit Board Designer to perform a variety of design drawing tasks including RF/chip & wire PCB design, Rigid-flex PCB and various advanced electrical designs for aircraft based systems.

The position will require working with engineers to accumulate all documentation of critical system components, requirements, environmental constraints, estimated size, weight and power, and schedule.

Required Skills: - ship and able to obtain DoD Security Clearance - BS or Trade School plus 10 years minimum experience - Current experience with Mentor Graphics Expedition, DxDesigner & AutoCad - Experience with High Speed, Multi-Layer, Digital, Analog, RF, Flex, Controlled Impedance, Differential and Mixed Signal, (BGA's, CCGA's, Micro-Vias, Buried Resistors), Auto-routers - Demonstrated ability to design MCMs and work in various advanced RF dielectrics and substrate technologies - 10+ years relevant CAD experience

Must have a minimum of 15 years experience in: - Circuit Architectures and Algorithms - CMOS Design - New Circuit Characterization and Qualification - PCB Design and Layout - Printed Circuit Design and Fabrication - Reconfigurable Circuits

Must have a minimum of 10 years experience in: - CAD/EDA/TCAD - Mentor DxDesigner/Xpedition - Aircraft, Missile, Satellite Systems

Preferred Skills: - Hardware Design Tools such as SolidWorks, PCB Layout Tools such as Altium Designer - Experience with CES (Constraint Editor System) and IPC CID or CID+ certification - Experience working with electronics fabrication and assemblies facilities from preliminary quoting to final inspection after assembly
