Senior Civil Engineer

AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a home base in Chelmsford, MA. Help us to continue to deliver innovative and successful projects.  It is expected that this role will provide support to projects throughout the Northeast US. This is a hybrid position.  The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Provide technical leadership on complex civil design projects from the planning through permitting and construction phases. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff. Work with mid-level staff and lead multi-discipline project design teams virtually and locally. Interface with client and regulatory agencies.  Manage civil and stormwater design and resiliency projects. Coordinate projects with civil design and modeling teams. Design pipe conveyance and modeling of collection systems. Develop and review design and construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Oversee and prepare engineering reports and documentations. Prepare engineering services proposals, fee estimates, and schedules.  Stay current on industry trends and advancements in design and engineering.
