Senior Cloud Engineer - Security

We are looking for a technical leader that can liaise with our Information Security team to improve our Hosting services. A successful candidate will have deep experience in cloud along with demonstrated skill in infrastructure security design and implementation. Experience in a DevOps environment and/or automation with infrastructure as code methodology is a must. As an individual contributor, the candidate will need to be able to handle multiple priorities, communicate well, and demonstrate leadership in a technical setting. • Serve as a liaison between the Hosting and Information Security teams, setting security direction and priorities for our team
• Participate in architecture, design, and implementation efforts, representing security as a first-class feature
• Act as a technical lead for visible and complex projects, advocating for solutions across organizational boundaries
• Define and implement security practices / policies across on-premises and public cloud infrastructure
• Mentor your technical peers
• Create and deliver knowledge sharing presentations and documentation to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Lead response to security incidents within Hosting services and infrastructure

• Experience with infrastructure vulnerability / patch management in a hybrid cloud environment (Windows, Linux, VMware, Azure, AWS)
• Experience with AWS Security Hub, Cloud Formation, Azure Security Center, ARM Templates
• Understanding of security compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
• Experience applying security controls within an enterprise environment
• Experience with vulnerability management tools (Rapid 7, Qualys, Nessus)
• Experience in the design and implementation of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for enterprise applications and services
• Experience in a technical peer leadership role

• Experience with virtualization technologies, specifically VMware
• Experience with Linux administration - Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, Debian
• Experience with Windows Server administration
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration

• A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
