Extracts, transforms, and analyzes data, finding insights and answering questions about the content of the data. Performs analytical hypothesis testing and modeling to provide key insight to internal and external clients. Supports sales function by providing data expertise, feasibility reviews, and detailed analysis of questions raised by internal and external stakeholders. More senior roles are involved in the creation and innovation of Comscore's offerings to the marketplace and are responsible for managing and leading cross-functional teams of analysts. Some roles create and maintain internal and external user interface and reporting tools. These roles cross all Comscore product areas, including digital, mobile, OTT, and TV.Key Activities:
  • Initiates data investigations
  • Simultaneously manages multiple projects, teams and/or client relationships
  • Act as a consultant with client-facing teams
  • Design, coordinates and implements product development initiatives
  • Supervises, mentors and helps develop direct reports on appropriate career paths
  • Plays a key role in running the operational day-to-day aspect of assigned area
  • Some roles focus on enhancing user functionality, effectively communicating our insight to end user, and better meeting their data needs
  • Accesses, understands, interprets data, and provides meaningful insight
  • Owns product delivery and the work of the team
  • Tackles difficult analyses and pushes through roadblocks
  • Expertise in data/tools and exposure to outside data/tools
  • Manages product delivery cycle and identifies operational efficiencies
  • Owns delivery schedule, sets team priorities; holds individuals accountable for results
  • Develops appropriate career paths for direct reports
  • Proactively encourages and helps direct reports to continuously learn about industry and clients
  • Fosters innovation
  • Contributes ideas and develops vertical roadmap; encourages others to contribute their ideas

Core Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Decision Sciences, Economics, Physics, Mathematics
  • 6+ years related data science experience
  • Strong client interaction and team partnering experience
  • Ability to manage budgets
  • Leadership and strategic vision
  • Strong negotiations and partnering skills
  • Ability to develop and direct the growth of direct reports and coach for top performance
