Senior Data Engineer (AWS)We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer (AWS) to join a world-renowned management consulting firm for a direct hire, hybrid capable role. You will join their Boston, MA or Atlanta, GA office and be a part of their One Firm Tech-Cloud Data & Analytics team. You will work with product managers, software engineers, architects and various platform teams. You’ll be part of a team responsible for delivering technology enabled solutions of the future. You will be involved in all business value chain activities from understanding product needs to product development to on-going maintenance and enhancement.Vaccination is required for this clientWhat You Will Do:- You will be responsible for the development, support, maintenance and implementation of an enterprise application that is scalable, resilient, and distributed.
- You will be responsible for creating innovative interoperability platforms, tools and solutions to enable seamless and secure data integration.
- Your solutions will be used to connect legacy, newly developed, and vendor applications across the datacenter and cloud environments, and you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the solutions.
What Gets You The Job:- Bachelors/Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in technology related field
- 5-8 years’ experience in driving the strategy, architecture, design and implementation of cloud initiatives
- Strong experience with data migration and integration
- Deep expertise of AWS is required. Azure or GCP expertise is optional.
- Good understanding of container orchestration platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, ECS or others
- Experience in one or more programming languages (e.g. NodeJS, Golang, Ruby or Python)
- Strong experience using infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform, CloudFormation or others
- Strong DevOps automation experience including setup and configuration of CI/CD pipelines and surrounding ecosystem
- Relevant certifications in AWS e.g. Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate
