Senior Data Engineer - industry leading cannabis delivery platform

Have you ever thought to yourself, man wouldn't it be cool to have worked in alcohol business right after prohibition?! This is your chance! I am working closely with the EVP of Engineering at the top cannabis delivery company in the country. They are currently approved for delivery in 3 states and expect that number to quadruple in the next year. They are looking for their first Senior Data Engineer. This person will get the "data practice" off the ground in tandem with their first recent data scientist hire. Over time they plan to build a team around this person. Required Skills & Experience

• You should have at least 5+ years of professional software engineering / Data Engineering experience using a modern language like Python, Java, or Ruby
• You should have experience building cloud hosted web platforms, preferably AWS but Google Cloud Platform or Azure works.
• You should have a strong understanding of relational and non relational databases.
• You should have experience building complex data pipelines and thing like ETL / ELT

• It would be great if you have modern tools like Kafka, Spark etc.
• It would be great if you' had a CS degree
