Description We are in search of a Senior Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Southborough Massachusetts. As a Senior Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for various processes related to payroll, including managing employee timecards, handling payroll adjustments, and ensuring the accuracy of payroll data. This role will also involve responding to employee inquiries about pay and recommending improvements to our current processes.Responsibilities include: Managing the timecard system and notifying employees of the deadline each pay period Preparing a reconciliation of approved hours for payroll processing Posting edits, payroll adjustments, and corrections as needed Entering bonuses, retro pay, and shift differential pay into the payroll system Assisting with the review of pre-process registers to ensure accuracy of payroll data Handling the reception and dispatch of payroll packages Responding to employee inquiries and questions regarding pay Running reports from the payroll system for review and analysis Recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Actively participating in supervision and staff meetings to discuss and resolve payroll issues.Requirements Prior experience as a Senior Payroll Coordinator or in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP Financial Services Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Crystal Reports Knowledge and experience in 401k and RRSP Administration Familiarity with About Time and Accounting Functions Ability to perform Auditing and Benefit Functions Experience in ADP Payroll and Benefits Payroll Proficiency in Domestic Payroll and Full Cycle Payroll Experience in handling payroll for 101-500 employees and over 500 employees Knowledge of Payroll Garnishments and Payroll Taxes Ability to Process Bi-weekly Payroll, Biweekly Payroll, and Payroll in general Experience in Reconciling Payroll and Year-end Payroll Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in a team environment and independently when needed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Professional certificatioFor immediate consideration, please reach out to me directly 508-205-2127 Eric Lebow Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
