Solidus is searching for a Senior PCB Designer with strong electronics PCB design, library creation and documentation experience. The candidate must have excellent time management and communication skills, and exemplary team skills as these responsibilities will be accomplished directly or through influence of other organizations such as engineering and design. The candidate will need to be able to take the designs from initial schematic thru final manufacturing output so a knowledge of the PCB Fabrication and Assembly process is important.

Required skills: - U.S. Citizen and Active DoD Security Clearance - BS degree plus 15 years experience with the below - Prior experience in aerospace and/or national laboratory environment - Expert experience with the latest Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and Expedition - Experience with the Altium CAD software - Self-starter and have the ability to multi-task. - Strong PCB design skills - Current experience with the Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and Expedition software (including CES) along with experience with the Altium CAD software are required skills. - Experienced with Draftsight for drawing creation. - Experience w/High Speed, Multi-Layer, Digital, Analog, RF, Flex, Controlled Impedance, Diff. Pairs or Mixed Signal, (BGA's, CCGA's, Micro-Vias, Buried Resistors,). - Understanding of the library creation and management process - Experience in the generation of all Fabrication and Assembly output data (ODB and /or Gerbers), Fab Drawings (including panel drawings), Assembly Drawings, Pick and Place data, etc.).

Preferred skills: - Knowledge of the VALOR software for DFM
