Senior / Principal Software Engineer- .NET CORE C# React Rest API

Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States (Hybrid)

OverviewWe are currently conducting a search for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team working on one of our newest products, an automated Robotic liquid handler.This role involves the full technology stack, from controlling hardware, to working with the database, to UI development. You’ll contribute to design, architecture, and implementation. Your code will be running on real hardware and robotic devices to assist scientists in the discovery of novel treatments and medicines.Our stacko C#, .NET 6, ASP.NET Coreo React, React Query, Tailwindo PostgreSQLo Git, Jenkins

What you’ll doo Implement new features to help make our product the best Robotic handler on the marketo Write C# that makes an actual robot move, or write UI code to impress customers, or both!o Design components of the system to improve performance and maintainabilityo Collaborate with other software and hardware engineers, QA, Product and Support to solve problemso Become an expert and go-to person on our productTo succeed as a member of our team, you will need to:o Have great communication skills, both written and oralo Be self-motivated and able to come up with solutions on your owno Understand and debug complex, multi-threaded codebaseso Be capable of working well in a small team and taking ownership of your work

Work environment:Our team primarily works out of our office in Beverly, MA with some remote flexibility available. We have an engineering lab where we test on real devices, and a manufacturing floor where you can see real customer systems being built.This is a greenfield opportunity for software development. For the past year, we have been re-architecting the software to next gen and they are 50% complete and there is currently high demand for this product. This is an exciting opportunity to build out a new modern architecture,We are seeking a Principal or Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience, ballparkThe stack currently is .NET V6, asp.net core. Rest API, React This person should have multi-threaded experience and ideally Asynchronous communication and parallel processing. The back end talks with the hardware through TCP/IP.Will consider someone with C# back-end with willingness to learn UI or UI with some back-end. React is preferred but will consider someone who is willing to learn React. Best Regards
