Senior Quest Designer

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Quest Designer to join our Boston office to work on Cyberpunk 2, the next mainline Cyberpunk 2077 game. As a part of the Narrative Design team you will have an opportunity to design, implement and direct your own stories in our world!We’re looking for a designer with a strong creative approach who can help enrich our worlds through quests and exciting stories grounded in the characters and world around them.  This role focuses on narrative-driven emotional design, and visual scripting. Additionally, narrative designers are expected to organize and shepherd complex content from design, through implementation, to ship.This role does not include writing responsibilities and is specifically focused on design and implementation.Candidates should include a portfolio or examples of their projects. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. Daily ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed storylines and believable worlds around themDesign quests, NPC communities and open world events.Implement designed content through visual scripting using a proprietary toolset within UE5.Plan the assets required to create your content.Collaborate with other departments as part of an interdisciplinary content creation team. Integrate delivered assets including gameplay elements, locations, characters, dialogue and other content  into a seamless, engaging and unique experience.Consistently maintain a high quality bar through review, iteration, and bug fixing.Attend content reviews and iterate on designs and implementation based on feedback.Create and maintain design documentation.
