is a role well suited for an ambitious professional, looking for a high

visibility, technical leadership opportunity. The successful candidate will have

lead responsibility for major capital equipment automation projects from

inception through validation and production startup. Typical manufacturing equipment project

examples include high volume equipment for liquid filling, heat sealing,

labeling, computerized vision inspection, and assembly operations.As

a Senior Staff Engineer , you will be responsible for:Technical lead of capitalequipment automation projects purchased from external suppliers for highvolume manufacture of medical devices.

Specification of requirements,financial justification, project management, validation, and productionstartup of complex automated manufacturing equipment

Establish and monitor KPI’stracking equipment performance to drive continuous improvement

Maximize value to Siemens’ manufacturingoperations using a combination of manufacturing experience and technicalexpertise

Ability to commit to travel asrequired up to 15%

REQUIREDEDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Education:BS in Engineering:Disciplines: Mechanical, Industrial Automation; advanced degree intechnical or business discipline desired

Minimum of 10 years’ experience

Skills:Ability to communicateeffectively with leaders and individual contributors at all levels of theorganization.

Mechanical design of automatedassembly equipment

Specification, procurement,validation, and support of complex of custom automation equipment

Project management

Experience:·

Experience working in a medical or similar

regulated industry is desiredExperienceworking in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Experiencewith mechanical design of automated assembly equipment

Experiencenavigating a highly matrixed organization
