A services organization in Massachusetts has a great Remote opportunity awaiting a new Senior System Analyst (Workday). Functioning as a strategic contributor for Workday Financial processes, the Senior System Analyst (Workday) will be responsible for providing oversight in all financial applications initiatives. R
esponsibilities: The Senior System Analyst (Workday) will:- Serve as a strategic partner for WD Financial and key liaison and IT point of contact for business leaders and stakeholders
- Define, implement and maintain Workday configurations and workflows for supported modules.
- Advise and influence decisions with Senior Leaders; provide oversight and make sure the team is following best practices, educate and mentor the WD Finance team, etc.
- Serve as the IT's primary contact and coordinator for financial systems upgrades/enhancements.
- Proactively prepare for annual activities and bi-annual releases supported by the Workday system
- Develop and maintain of technical system documentation surrounding all financial processes and related interfaces that impact the financial accounting and reporting systems
- Coordinate and run user testing and manage the launch of business processes
- Serve as a primary lead in all Workday Finance/ERP current and future initiatives
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 5+ years managing global Workday deployments
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Strong experience in strategically designing and leading global ERP projects especially Financial modules such as Accounts Payable, FP&A, Revenue, Procurement etc.
- Strong working knowledge of finance modules of Workday application
- Experience managing ERP teams and overseeing multiple project teams
- A minimum of 2 full life cycle ERP Financial implementations
- Experience gathering and aligning business requirements across stakeholders that span job level and function
- Demonstrate expertise and ownership for the configuration, enhancement, maintenance, and testing of the Workday system
- Strong planning and execution skills.
