Senior Writer

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Writer to work out of our Boston Hub. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting captivating narratives, compelling dialogues and innovative quests for Cyberpunk 2 - the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major video game in the Cyberpunk franchise. You will collaborate closely with our project Leadership as well as with a team of passionate writers. If you possess a deep understanding of storytelling and want to shape the immersive experiences of our new Cyberpunk game, then this opportunity is for you!Please provide 2-3 writing samples of no more than 10 pages total, including a short screenplay sample. We’re interested in work that shows adults dealing with difficult situations and decisions in authentic and grounded ways.Please include your samples as an extension of your resume or ensure a link to your work is listed on your application. Responsibilities Cooperate closely with the Creative Director, Lead Writer and narrative teams.Develop narrative elements and features of our game, such as writing engaging dialogues, intriguing scenarios, and memorable charactersMaintain the overall writing style and tone throughout the game.Create documents to support the game’s story in alignment with the project’s vision.Mentor and support a team of talented writers.Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that the story elements are consistent across narrative, gameplay mechanics and visuals.Review and revise narrative features to ensure the highest possible standard.
