Service Handyman - New Residential

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to address various tasks around residential and commercial properties. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including drywall, paint, tile, and carpentry tasks.

Conduct routine inspections of premises to identify issues or needed repairs.

Respond promptly to service requests from homeowners or management.

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Tarion standards and regulations.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Assist with installations of fixtures, appliances, and other equipment as needed.

Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status and any additional needs.

Experience

Proven experience as a residential Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.

Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and maintenance practices.

Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in construction and repair work.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks appropriately.

Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
