Site Reliability Engineer II

Circle Internet Financial, LLC has multiple openings for multiple positions including Site Reliability Engineer II for WFH opportunity.

Responsibilities: The Site Reliability Engineer II is responsible for building, maintaining, improving, scaling, and securing cloud infrastructure and resources. Supporting multiple development teams with an agile, responsive CI/CD platform to deliver high-quality builds with measurable performance. Automating operations tasks via Go, Python, and serverless solutions. Designing, managing, and monitoring Kubernetes clusters for multiple production workloads. Driving forward our blockchain infrastructure by creating and managing blockchain modes across a wide variety of blockchains that include Algorand, Ethereum, Hedera, Flow, Solana, Stellar, and Tron. Planning and testing disaster recovery scenarios for a highly available microservices architecture. Collaborating with security team to create and maintain security-focused tools and frameworks and exerting a top-class security posture. Working in an on-call rotation to mitigate disruption for any production systems and conducting root cause analysis. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Boston, MA.

Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field (or foreign equivalent).

Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related engineering position. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience working with distributed systems building scalable microservices; 2 years of experience in technical collaboration and project development via Agile or Scrum methodologies; 2 years of experience integrating and managing database scripts and designing their schemas; and 2 years of experience with cloud services such as: AWS SQS/SNS, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, Microsoft Azure, Aurora, ECS/EKS, ELB, and CloudWatch; Docker; K8 management, or related.
