Solidus is searching for a Software Engineer to join a group that supports the United States Navy in many mission areas. A significant area is in developing Blue Force Situational Awareness (BFSA) in the radiofrequency (RF) domain. The successful candidate will assist with development of software for the BFSA prototypes.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Full lifecycle application development - Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages - Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis - Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) - Software modeling and simulation - Software testing and quality assurance - Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation - Supports, maintains and documents software functionality. Integrates software with existing systems - Evaluates and identifies new technologies for implementation - Maintains standards compliance - Implements localization or globalization of software

Required Skills: - U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Security Clearance. Active Secret preferred - Bachelors degree plus 5 years of experience - Software/Algorithm Development - Software Documentation - Backend Programming (SQL) - GIT/GITHUB - Java/J2EE/JEE (JSP, SERVLETS, JDBC, JSTL, SOAP) Development - Java Development - JavaScript Development - JSON - MVC frameworks (Struts, Spring MVC, Play) - Python - Python/Tensor Flow - Software Design/Development - XML and SQL - Maven or Gradle, Git / Gitlab, Make / Autotools - Hardware and Software Integration

Preferred Skills: - C/C Programming - C11 or later, Stand Template Library,Boost library - HTML - IDE to Java - Object Oriented Software Design and Development
