Solidus is searching for a Software Engineer.

Candidate will join a team supporting several cutting-edge projects for undersea systems. The position will provide software development opportunities in a high-performing team, defining, implementing, demonstrating, and validating modern flexible software architectures that implement adaptive processing, tracking, estimation, classification, communications, image processing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and human-machine interface.

Requirements • Active Secret Clearance • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline and at least one year of software development experience • 1 year minimum relevant experience

Required Experience • MATLAB, Java, C/C, and Python • Comprehensive knowledge in Object Oriented Programming • Developing, debugging, and executing software in both Linux and windows environments • Proficiency in parallel processing, multi-threaded programming, thread safety, and thread synchronization • Understanding of networking architectures and protocols • Algorithm optimization for real time systems • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work well on a team and individually; set priorities

Additionally Desired • Git and Apache Subversion configuration control • Eclipse IDE • Developing in C# • GUI development (Qt or GTK+) • IDEs i.e., Visual Studio, etc. • Processing large volumes of data • Artificial intelligence and machine learning • Understanding of advanced linear algebra concepts
