Here are the details: Position: Software EngineerLocation: Onsite in Marlborough, MARate: Negotiable based on experience Duration: 6+ MonthsOverview:• Development of robust and scalable software in C running Linux or UNIX operating systems using Agile development methods.• Object-Oriented Design Knowledge including UML and Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing and continuous integration.• Familiarity with the following Software Tools: Rational Rhapsody, ClearCase, Rational Team Concert, Jenkins, DOORS, Google Test.• Improvement to DevSecOps process.• De-bug/correct stability issues.• Design, implement, debug and problem solve Radar Software Applications.• Integration and testing of real-time embedded software.• Improvement of code quality by supporting software integration, verification and performing code reviews, develop ideas to our technology, algorithms and products.• Work in a team environment.Experience and Skills:• Java, Ada, or other programming skills• Familiarity with software design patterns• Experience with distributed systems and multi-threaded applications• Experience with the Rhapsody tool and model driven development• Radar domain knowledge• Signal Processing experience• Experience in Graphical User Interface design and implementation• Familiarity with UDP and TCP/IP protocols• Strong problem solving ability• Familiarity with the following software tools: ClearCase, ClearQuest, Team Concert, Jenkins, Coverity, Eclipse, DOORS• Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing, static node analysis and continuous integration• Experience with or knowledge of Data Distribution Service (DDS)• Familiarity with Unix based scripting such as shell, Python and/or Perl• Experience with System Requirements flowdown, Software Requirements development, requirement analysis, traceability and functional allocations• Prior experience producing documentation in alignment with DoD Specifications, including updates to System/Sub-system Design Description (SSDD), System/Sub-system Specification (SSS), Software Requirements Specifications (SRSs), Software Design Descriptions (SDDs)• Experience with or knowledge of the SEI CMMI modelRequirements:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field.• 8-10 + years' experience in software engineering or 12+ years of experience for non-degree.• Active Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain.• Travel may be required.Additional Benefits:For this opportunity, you will also be eligible for benefits through Apex for the contract period, 401K, medical/health benefits options, a W2 hourly rate, weekly pay, and direct deposit!EEO EmployerApex is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
