Looking for ASAP start. Contract only position.

Hybrid work schedule, 50/50 split, first part of the assignment onsite in Andover, MA to get trained up.

Job Description:

Expected skill sets

Senior/Principal Engineer (8+ years)

BSCS or MSCS with strong firmware and software background including development, computer architecture, and technical leadership
Experience with virtualization technologies (containers, virtual machines), operating systems, embedded systems, networking, and hypervisors.
Experience with Linux systems, Yocto Linux, and Docker, Orchestrator experience a plus
C, C & Python coding experience, debug, and development
Experience with Industrial Communication Protocols, Ethernet communication protocols are a plus
Experience in Git and DevOps tools
Experience in Windows, Linux, and real-time operating systems
Works well with a team, has good communication skills, and is a self-starter
Adaptable to new development environments and eager to work with and learn new technologies.
Manage time and workload. Learns independently but knows when to ask for help
Knowledge or experience in device drivers, IO technologies; virtualization environments such as KVM.
Agile mindset with SAFe experience very helpful, Innovation mindset and experience
Needs to be proactive in viewing work, instead of driven by given requirements.
Encourage innovation experience and mindset.
Need to communicate the combination of research and development work environment.
