Solidus is searching for a Software Programmer.

The successful candidate will join a team that develops and demonstrate tactically-relevant space situational awareness (SSA) in support of space control. The group focuses on the techniques, operational concepts, and advanced sensor systems that are needed to obtain timely and predictive information about space objects. This work is enabled by hands-on access to an operational network of space surveillance sensor systems. The group operates a Space Surveillance Complex (SSC), comprising a variety of RADAR devices. The group is also responsible for supporting the space mission Kwajalein via the Space Situational Awareness Center (SSAC). The SSAC serves as a central mission-support center and data-fusion node, with data feeds from the entire Space Surveillance Network and prototype sensor systems including the 3.5-meter Space Surveillance Telescope. These systems form a test range that is used to develop and demonstrate novel tactical SSA techniques such as optics-cued radar search, high-interest object monitoring, high-value asset neighborhood watch, and new launch custody.

Responsibilities: - Develop web-based user interfaces using javascript - Develop data analysis and data validation applications within a distributed, event-driven architecture of Java applications. - Participate in the renovation of the current operational software that will include developing new applications and wrapping legacy applications as web services

Required Skills: - ship and an Active DoD Clearance - BS + 10 years experience

10 years experience with: - Software/Algorithm Development - C/C, Java, Python, Bash, SQL, Java Script / HTML / CSS, Matlab - Java/J2EE/JEE (JSP, SERVLETS, JDBC, JSTL, SOAP) Development - Java Development - Object Oriented Software Design and Development - Software Design/Development

5 years experience with: - GIT/GITHUB - GUI Development - IDE to Java - Software Build Scripting (Make/Cmake/Nmake) - Web Application Development - Web-based API Processing - XML and SQL - Maven or Gradle, Git / Gitlab, Make / Autotools - Middleware, DDS, Publish/Subscribe, IDL
