Job Number: 639 Riverside Research is looking for a candidate to support the US Navy Software Factory supporting the AEGIS Weapons System. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, an independent problem solver, and have excellent communication skills both written and oral. They must also be able to enjoy learning and applying new technologies, and thrive in a dynamic, engineering-oriented work environment. All Riverside Research opportunities require US citizenship. Job Duties:- Coordinate with the Government, U.S. Navy software factories, and Third-Party contractors to leverage the Forge CBDE provided by the Government to facilitate testing and integration
- Test all capabilities and functionalities of software provided in the Forge CBDE through hardware-in-the loop (HWIL)
- Integrate and test software provided in the Forge CBDE with combat system hardware
- Test all capabilities and functionalities of software provided in the Forge CBDE at a system-of-systems level to ensure software and hardware fully function together as an ICS
- Ensure the Forge CBDE can automate can interface with the future ICS CBTP
- Provide system and design level models
- Provide modeling expertise to assist the Government in the pilot of any processes for digital engineering and MBSE tools
- Maintain the parity of the Forge CBDE with any disconnected platform instances required by this contract and the future ICS CBTP
- Conduct full scans of software developed within the Forge CBDE and integrate Cybersecurity objective quality evidence (OQE)
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineer or Computer Science, or comparable technical field
- 7+ years' experience
- Solid understanding of Agile SW development processes and tools
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage customer relationships and identify and pursue emerging
- Strong C/C, Java, and Python development skills
- Qualified candidates should also possess knowledge of software architectures, software industry best practices, and emerging software technologies. Experience in Agile processes and DevSecOps is also desired.
- Master's Degree in Computer Engineer or Computer Science, or comparable technical field
