What We Do:This role will report into thePayscaleRevenueorganization as a part of a team that is responsible for driving newproductsales and existing customergrowth.
What You Do: TheSolutionSalesExecutivewill be a member of ourSolution Sales teamand will work withboth new andexisting customers to expand relationships by leading, advising, and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow one or more assigned product lines.
Prospects new business by conducting research to identify key decision makers and influencers within target accountsof the install base customers
Partnerwith Customer Success Managersand Account Executivesto generate initial customer interest to secure an introductory meeting
Conduct in-depth discovery calls focused onunderstandingcurrent challenges andstrategic needsforprospects/customers
Presents to Customers: Uses the facts foundin discovery processto present a compellinginitialdemonstration of thePayscaleproducts
Partners with Account Executives,Sales Engineersand Customer Success Managersto achieve Sales targets
Closes Sales: Naturally leads the sales process to a close by demonstratingPayscalesuperior value proposition
Day-in-the-Life:As aSolution Sales Executive, a typical day may include the following…
Nourish and develop inbound marketing leads for a specific product offering
Partner withCustomer Successteam members to grow existing customers through relationship and value based selling methodology
Work closely with ourAccount Executiveteam and sales engineers on large strategic logo growth specific to designated product offering
Collaborate with our strategic business partners and marketing team to further develop and educate around the go-to market plan for the product offerings
First Year in Role:
Month 3: A strong understanding and developing depth of knowledge around allPayscaletools, services, and offerings.The ability totake onyourown sales opportunitieswithmore simple pursuitsfor aligned products.
Month 6: The ability to value sell and position the designated product toallcustomerswithin your assignedsegments.
Month9: Have a deep level of understanding ofPayscaleproducts and services along with the product lineyouwill be focused on. Ability to engage and present to customers at different role levels, including but not limited to HR leaders and Executives.
Qualifications
Experience:
1-3 years of sales and/or business development
2+ years of SAAS selling experience
1+ years of HR tech experience
Extra credit: Compensation planning (merit, bonus, comp reviews, etc.) or pay equity experience
Experience working and growing current customer install base business
Skills:
Strategic Value Selling
Technical Aptitude
Interpersonal and relationship building skills
