SQL Developer-Financial Services

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY, ONSITE 3 DAYS/WEEK The Senior Developer is a member of the IT Regulatory team whose focus is supporting project-based reporting solutions for internal customers and external regulators. Primary Responsibilities:- Developer for IT Regulatory team, work with the development manager and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and build the required technical solutions- Work with the team to support existing functionality and build, implement and support new solutions using SQL server, Java, Python, Snowflake.- Draft and review technical diagrams, specifications documents and required project documentation.- Conduct code reviews of other developers.- Share experience and knowledge with the team to improve productivity.- Continuously seek ways to improve our existing architecture and promote efficiencies where necessary.- Adhere to Morgan Stanley policies Job Requirements:- Undergraduate degree in computer science or technology discipline- 5+ years Java and SQL development experience- 5+ years development experience in financial services- Strong analytical and design skills with attention to detail- Ability to work in a team environment- Experience with Agile practices- Excellent verbal and written skills- Technologies used: SQL Server, Snowflake, Java, Python
