Sr. Financial Analyst

Description We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team located in Westborough Massachusetts. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting detailed financial analysis, supporting month-end close processes, and managing inventory analysis. Responsibilities: Conduct detailed project cost analysis to support decision-making processes Support month-end close procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting Perform inventory analysis to manage and control inventory levels effectively Handle ad hoc analysis tasks such as analyzing shipping costs to identify cost-saving opportunities Utilize NetSuite for financial management and reporting Apply Cost Accounting principles to accurately determine project costs Respond to and resolve any financial inquiries in a timely mannerRequirements Familiarity with Cost-Job and Cost Analysis is vital Expertise in NetSuite preferred Experience in Month End Close process is critical Ability to handle Inventory Accounting is necessary Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills are required Ability to work independently and in a team environment Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field is necessary Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications is required Prior experience in a similar role in a finance department is preferred Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
