Purpose: This role has a global reach and is working on User-centric Design of digital products that Fresenius brings to its markets globally.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with vertical product management (inCenter, Home & Critical Care) as well as engineering to define and implement best-in-class user-centric design, visuals and experience for digital products
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
Design, set up, run and analyze usability studies, A/B testing, focus groups and customer interviews
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards and contribute to the global Fresenius Design Community
Identifying appropriate qualitative research tools to gather objective user feedback (e.g., surveys, usability testing, user and stakeholder interviews)
Work with outside consultants to define research projects
Partner with product and engineering teams in the design, execution, and delivery of features
Bring UX practices including research, solution design, and interaction to the team
Research Planning and Recruitment: Develop a well-crafted research plan with clear research objectives.
Recruit targeted end-users for specific research studies.
Data Collection: Moderate one-on-one basic usability sessions
Data Analysis: Extract insights about user behaviors from web instrumentation tools.
Translate user insights into actionable recommendations for the product team.
Present design research findings to the larger team in a clear and organized fashion.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer interaction or a comparable
Minimum 5+ years demonstrated track record of delivering UX design for digital solutions solving user-centric problems, preferably in the healthcare sector
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experienced with ethnographic and observational methods usability testing and other approaches (benchmarking, competitive analyses, diary studies, remote testing)
