Description
  • Design and implement network infrastructure for manufacturing facilities, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment
  • Maintain and optimize network performance, security, and availability
  • Troubleshoot network issues and provide resolutions to minimize downtime
  • Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure network security and compliance
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other network engineers and IT staff
  • Manage vendor relationships and work with external partners to ensure optimal network performance and uptime
  • Conduct regular network audits and recommend improvements to enhance network performance, security, and availability

Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on manufacturing industry and Cisco technologies
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Cisco network infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of Cisco networking protocols, routing, switching, and firewalls
  • Experience with Cisco network security, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, VPN, and authentication technologies
  • Familiarity with Cisco network performance monitoring and optimization tools
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
