Description We are in search of a meticulous and diligent Staff Accountant to be a part of our team. This role will be based in Franklin, Massachusetts, and will involve invoice processing, check run processing, and assisting with various special projects. This position is a short-term contract opportunity that offers a chance to work closely with our accounts payable team and further develop skills in invoice processing and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.Responsibilities Manage the processing of invoices in a timely and accurate manner Handle check run processing to ensure smooth financial operations Assist with special projects as required to support the accounting team Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for various accounting tasks Contribute to the accounts payable process by ensuring all payments are made in accordance with company policy Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions Collaborate with other team members to ensure all financial deadlines are met Regularly update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading detail oriented publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in detail oriented organizations. Requirements Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) operations Experience in conducting Check Runs Ability to handle Invoice Processing tasks efficiently Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations software Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Knowledge of standard accounting principles and regulations Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Willingness to continuously update skills and knowledge in the field of accounting.
