Staff Accountant

Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Framingham, Massachusetts, 01701, United States. This role will involve processing and managing key financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing support to the wider accounting team. This opportunity offers short term contract employment.Responsibilities: Execute bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy Generate and manage journal entries for accurate record keeping Provide support in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Assist in month-end procedures to close accounts accurately and timely Prepare financial reports and perform analysis to support business decision-making Utilize NetSuite for accounting operations and record management Leverage advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting Ensure a high level of attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Proficiency in using accounting software such as NetSuite. Extensive knowledge and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries. Experience with Month End Close procedures. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices. Professional certification such as CPA is a plus.
