Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant (Funds) to join our team in the banking industry in Boston, Massachusetts. This role focuses on providing accurate and efficient partnership accounting support for our co-investment and general partner entities. You will be expected to assist with book and tax reporting, capital call and distribution package preparation, and financial statement preparation, as well as handle general journal entries and investment transaction processes.Responsibilities: Ensure efficient processing of capital call and distribution packages, and provide related reporting to members. Maintain and update general ledgers, including adjusting entries, bank reconciliations, capital account and supporting schedules. Assist with the preparation of financial statements. Handle various tax reporting deliverables and documentation, including year-end reporting, intra-year estimates, and 83(b) filings. Use Excel, accounting software and CRM portal actively to perform daily tasks. Provide support in cash management and banking functions, including handling related legal documentation. Contribute to the year-end audit process for the co-investment entities. Perform other tasks as assigned to support the various business functions. Requirements Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the banking industry as a Staff Accountant (Funds) Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Expertise in performing Bank Reconciliations is required Familiarity with General Ledger management is essential Experience in creating and managing Journal Entries is necessary Demonstrated ability in handling Month End Close processes Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite is required Proficiency in Oracle financial software is a must Prior experience with QuickBooks is preferred Familiarity with SAP financial software is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
