About the Opportunity

The National IT Storage Team has three immediate opening s for Storage Systems Administrator - Associates , reporting to the Sr. Manager-IT-Technology.

This position p rovides technical support for all storage related software and hardware critical infrastructure services and mission critical financial applications. This position p erforms storage and backup provisioning, configuration, maintenance, resource management, reporting and troubleshooting.

What You Will Do:
  • Investigates and/or coordinates resolution of routine problems associated with storage management.
  • Assists in the evaluation of new software/hardware programs or products. Maintains software/hardware components to support current release levels.
  • Performs routine storage and backup support tasks, including daily health checks, routine implementation of customer requests, documenting configurations and procedures.
  • Participates in post problem analysis, investigate root cause, and document and implement preventive measures and improvement.
  • Under technical direction/supervision, implements hardware, firmware and software upgrades and patches to maintain technology currency. Implement changes and remediate problems and vulnerabilities to meet the needs of customers while maintaining a stable environment.

Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma Required / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, preferred
  • 0 to 3+ years of relevant IT work experience
  • Programming background is desired with working knowledge of tools such as Python, Perl, etc.
