Summer Staff for Children's Fishing Program

Summer staff wanted for children's fishing program on Cape Cod. Must enjoy working with children, have positive energy and be able to role model positive behaviors for children ages 8-15. Should have a passion for the marine environment and be comfortable on boats.

This role involves supervising children during fishing activities and engaging children in a variety of fun and educational activities. Fishing experience is a plus but not required; if you are willing to get your hands dirty, we are happy to teach you!

Upstanding character, reliability, a strong work ethic, enthusiasm for working with children, a love for the ocean, and a sense of humor are required. In this role, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children.

Responsibilities:

-Engage children in a variety of activities with a focus on fishing and the marine environment, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.

-Maintain a state of hypervigilance for child safety at all times.

-Assist children with baiting fishing hooks and removing fish from fishing hooks.

-Foster a fun, supportive environment for all children.

-Foster in children a love for the ocean and respect for its wildlife.
