Work Experience: Four (4) Years experience in data analytics in a healthcare setting. Physical Skills: Must be physically able to perform duties which may require sitting, walking, climbing and periodically lifting. Mental Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and database management. Knowledge of Meditech MMIS, Access, SQL, and Visual Basic is desirable. Working Conditions and Physical Environment: Ability to work in a fast paced office environment, prioritize and handle multiple tasks. May be some travel between facilities. Job - Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates, compiles, analyzes, and interprets reports to identify opportunities for improved supply utilization, standardization, and process improvement; evaluates findings and makes recommendations.
- Acts as a Supply Chain resource for Group Purchasing Organizations and affiliates to help determine best value opportunities.
- Prepares departmental spend books to help identify supply and utilization trends at a departmental level.
- Identifies cost savings opportunities for products currently in use through review and analysis of group purchasing contracts and market data.
- Identifies product utilization trends for contracting opportunities or to leverage pricing based on increased usage or aggregate expenditures with contracted suppliers.
- Coordinates monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to various hospital affiliated benchmarking services.
- Acts as primary Supply Chain resource to insure the integrity of data from hospital MMIS system.
- Designated System Administrator for Supply Chain IT Systems responsible for the integrity of data in these systems.
- Has primary responsibility for the oversight and maintenance of supply chain related databases and analytic tools.
- Designated liaison between Supply Chain and other departments for any IT related issues relating to data and interfaces
- Presents data in an actionable format to Client management as required.
- Creates ad hoc reports as directed in support of Client's strategic goals.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Assures timely completion of assignments and proper coverage of areas of responsibility during time off.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
