Role: Senior System Admin with (Linux, Java/Python, AWS & Agile Mandatory) Location: Boston, MA - Fully Remote

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • 10+ years of experience in platform engineering or high-level technical support
  • Advanced to expert level knowledge of technologies such as Linux/Unix, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS and Clustering
  • Experience in platform automations
  • Experience with programming skills such as Java, C/C, Python
  • Strong technical background with excellent problem solving and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in communication and presentation, both written and verbal (in English)
  • High availability and commitment to customers at any time Advantages
  • Agile methodology experience SCRUM
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (especially Redis)
  • Prior experience handling with cloud computing such as AWS
  • Prior experience with Kubernetes

Essential Requirements
  • Minimal of 5+ years of experience in Linux Administration and System Administration.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting Operating Systems with knowledge of clustering, network, storage, and its components.
  • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure related issues and debug software with and without source code available.
  • Be familiar with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and experience working in on-call rotation schedule ("follow the sun" model)
Desirable Requirements
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles and customer driven mindset.
  • Experience managing platforms or complex IT environments with multiple layers of hardware and software
  • Knowledge of how cloud technologies work
  • Experience with Performance Management and Disaster Recovery practices
