Solidus is searching for a Systems Administrator who is comfortable with both Windows and Linux operating systems. In addition the candidate should have a strong working knowledge of computer networks and experience with networking and security appliances. The candidate will be supporting end users as well as building high performance systems to support research and development projects.

Requirements: - ship and an Active Secret Clearance is required - 3 years of relevant experience

Required Skills: - Desktop and server support (installation, patching, auditing, configuration, security, Active Directory integration, SMB/CIFS, NFS, etc. - Experience with enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, etc) - Experience writing scripts (bash, perl, python etc) - Experience with Type I and Type II encryption devices (ie KG-175) - Demonstrated ability to work well in a team, to solve challenging problems, and to self-motivate

Preferred Skills: - BA in Computer Science or Information Technology - Experience and understanding of network architectures - Experience with backup solutions (tape/SATA, etc) - Experience with the DIACAP and/or RMF frameworks - CISCO knowledge (networking and security hardware) - Experience with long-haul networks (hardware, out of band management) - Experience installing and developing cloud infrastructure and services (Azure/AWS/etc) - Professional certifications (Security+, MTA/MCSA/MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP)
