Solidus is searching for a Systems Administrator to join a group that supports the United States Air Force in many mission areas that include air vehicle survivability, vulnerability of USAF aircraft to weapons systems, electronic countermeasures and air surveillance for homeland defense. In support of these efforts, the group operates airborne and ground-based testbeds composed of state of the art instrumentation and sensors.

The Systems Administrator will assist with the installation, maintenance, repair, upgrade of computer, data storage, and network infrastructure on these group testbeds.

Required Skills: - U.S. Citizenship and able to obtain DoD Security Clearance; active Secret preferred - Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience - Strong Linux experience with RHEL and Mint - Solid understanding of Windows and network fundamentals - Experience installing, configuring and managing network services such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NIS, NFS, SSH, SAMBA, AD, NTP, FTP and HTTP/S - Experience with the majority of the following applications: - Github Enterprise Administration - Veeam backup - VMware vSphere, vMotion, and vSAN - Jforg Artifactory management - Atlassian Confluence, JIRA, and Bamboo management - ACAS - Splunk or SOC Operations - McAfee ePO Server - MS Active Directory, LDAP - System Administration - Virtualization Technologies to include VM management, Snapshots, SANs and iSCSI Storage - Systems - VMWare ESXi and Associated Management Systems - Strong understanding for DoD RMF and STIG, SCAP process - Experience installing and configuring routers and switches - Must be team oriented, have strong communication skills and have the ability to work independently to develop novel IT solutions to enhance productivity and reliability of computing resources - Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, comprehensive and troubleshooting skills are required - CompTIA Security+ certificate or other DoD 8570 compliant certificate is required
