Solidus is searching for a Systems Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer.

Candidates will join a team that supports the Missile Defense Agency in the development, deployment, testing, and enhancement of the nation's missile defense system. Successful individual will contribute to various efforts related to the development and anchoring of radar phenomenology models and the verification and validation of radar simulations. Performing radar data analysis, the engineer's responsibilities will include Missile Defense System testing including preparing radar sensors for collection of data on missile flight tests, development and testing of sensor simulations, training of radar operators, test execution support and post mission analysis of collected data. The engineer will also perform electromagnetic predictions using high fidelity codes including antenna modeling and design and will develop MATLAB codes for complex RCS scattering phenomenology.

Requirements - U.S. Citizenship and able to obtain DoD Security Clearance - BS degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other STEM field

Required Experience - 2+ years' experience using MATLAB, python and/or other scripting languages - 1 year experience with Linux operating systems - Work well independently as well as with a team - Excellent communication skills

Additionally Desired - 2+ years of RCS Prediction Tools (Xpatch Method of Moments) - 1 year of antenna design/modeling - 1 year experience with IR modeling - 2 years of CAD experience (preferably Rhinoceros) - Experience or background in RF analysis of missiles
