Program manager for our Unified Telecom effort.

Summary:
  • We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager to come in, review the current state plan, continue to drive the deployment forward.
  • The role will report in to the PMO, but be closely aligned with the Infrastructure team.

Description:The Unified Telecom effort will implement Cisco’s Telephony solution, replacing Avaya and Nortel systems, as well as smaller telecom systems at small offices. The solution is all inclusive as it includes Call Center applications, such as SpinSci, Verant, and Unimax. The integrator chosen for this is NTT. The program was in a difficult state, but we recently have been working to put the effort back on schedule. The candidate should be able to evaluate the work that has been done, pick up the current plan, and drive the effort forward.

Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will have 10 year of project/program manager experience, preferably in a healthcare hospital environment and preferably an academic medical center.
  • The candidate must have experience in implementing Unified Telecommunication systems, preferably Cisco and preferably in the Healthcare industry.
  • PMP is preferred, but not mandated.
  • Excellent communication skills, at both a technical analyst level as well as C level communications.
  • Organizational skills are a must, as this is a technically complex implementation, and will require someone with an excellent analytical skillset and organizational skills to move the project from troubled state to well run.
  • This role will manage roughly 4-5 workstreams to deploy the solution to hospitals, smaller locations, and contact centers.
