Uses various CAD programs, i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Kaledo and/or Generation Digital to design and recolor prints, embroideries, beadwork, appliques and yarn dyes. Collaborates with the design managers and specialists to execute artwork and prioritize projects to coincide with the department's seasonal deadlines. Interfaces with the Information Technology Department and external technical support to correct systemic issues and maintain the equipment. class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" Responsibilities: class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Uses technical and creative knowledge and ability to execute finished, CAD artwork projects based on the direction and needs of the Design Managers and Specialists class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Uses resources such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Kaledo and Generation Digital to design and recolor prints/repeats and embroideries, appliques and yarn dyes class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Prepares completed, production ready artwork package in a timely manner based on the product type class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Organizes materials and prioritizes projects based on the department's seasonal deadlines class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Ensures that equipment and files are updated and maintained using internal and external technical support as needed class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Orders and maintains supplies for CAD equipment when needed class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Color matching of seasonal palette to be used in CAD programs class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Special projects as assigned class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" Requirements: class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Experience in Textile and Surface Design or Illustration OR graphic design with an interest in product development class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Kaledo and/or Generation Digital class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Strong graphic design, illustration, print development capabilities class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Excellent color matching skills required class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Ability to take direction from many associates with varying communication styles class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Strong communication and interpersonal skills class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Comprehensive knowledge of the apparel/fashion industry class="xxContentPasted1 xContentPasted0" aria-hidden="true" • Portfolio of artwork or related design projects required Kindly review and reply with your acknowledgement to exclusively submit you to this job opportunity.
