Software Engineer (ADAS)

$65,000+

Ability to work full-time (M-F, 40 hours/week) Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Verification of employment eligibility will be required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.One of the world’s leading mobility and electrification companies is seeking recent grads/ early talent, local to Metro Detroit, to join at the ground level of designing and developing next-generation ADAS technology for their software-defined vehicle architecture. Design, document, develop, and integrate platform middleware with a collaborative team in the center of ADAS software innovation. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or having earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Modern C programming experience (C 11, C14, or C17)
  • Unit testing experience
  • Preferred: Agile familiarity or internship experience

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
  • Design, document, develop, and integrate platform middleware software
  • Work with code quality tools, write unit tests, ensure proper code coverage, ensure robustness, support code reviews and debugging
  • Support the software verification and validation teams to establish test strategies to achieve suitable coverage
  • Create new, scalable, and impactful C code within an Agile environment
  • Work closely with other teams to diagnose any issues encountered
