Title: ADAS Technical Product EngineerLocation: Remote position. (Auburn Hills, MI)Duration: 12+ monthsNote: Onsite strongly preferred, but willing to discuss remote options.Description: • The ADAS Technical Product Engineer will develop high level requirements, including product goals, customer functional objectives, and technical specifications, for ADAS and autonomous driving features. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Development and refinement of Product Goals (PG)• Development and refinement of Customer Functional Objectives (CFO)• Development and refinement of Vehicle Technical Specifications (VTS)• Benchmarking of competitor and supplier features• Support of long-range feature planning• Documentation of possible feature improvements and technical enablers• Support of feature and systems team by providing voice of customer concerns and alignment on requirements• Documentation of regulatory policy changes related to ADAS and autonomous driving functionRequirements:• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Materials /Chemical/ Civil/ Aerospace/Computer) from an ABET accredited university. • 2+ years of relevant experience• Ability to translate customer feedback into objectives and technical requirements• Good understanding of autonomous driving and ADAS systems and technology • Good analytical problem-solving skills • Self-starter with strong communication skills• Selected candidates can not start until January 2022.Travel and Driving Requirements:• Travel may be required (0-10%). Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record. • Driving a Stellantis vehicle - (Rarely - 1-5 times per year)Preferred Requirements:• Technical requirements development with ADAS / Autonomous requirements• Previous experience in systems engineering• Background in DFSS, Robust Assessment Testing• Background in technical writing• Good understanding of systems engineering and agile modelAdditional Information:The highest "Must have" is the experience in design of electrical components - specifically ECUs.These could include:- Releasing of components- Functional design or integration of features- Systems or Controls requirementsPreferred "must haves" are:- Experience in ADAS or vehicle autonomy functions- Experience in the creation of system requirements- Onsite strongly preferred, but willing to discuss remote options
