Job Summary: While embedded with the Client IT Enterprise Architecture team, this Adobe Experience (Marketing) Cloud Enterprise Solution Architect's responsibilities include improving the current Adobe ecosystem, optimizing business operations, and setting the direction for integrating information technology applications and programs. The AEC/AMC/AEM Enterprise Solution Architect is also responsible for developing, documenting, communicating, and implementing overall Adobe architecture models, capabilities, and components to adequately execute the organization's business and technology activities.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
  • Expert level experience and capabilities within the Adobe Experience Cloud, specifically AEM and preferably Target, DTM, Dynamic Media, Audience, etc.
  • Experience designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale AEM systems in various environments (cloud/non-cloud)
  • Experience across wide range of languages, databases and technologies such as: Java, .NET, MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, JSON, HTML5, REST/SOAP Web Services, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Couchbase, Cassandra, etc.
  • Virtualization, cloud computing, load balancing, clustering, scalable architectures, hosted services, multi-tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems and content delivery networks
  • Multi-disciplined experience within a general IT environment (10+ years) and Digital Advertising (4+ years).
  • IT architecture experience (6+ years).
  • Cloud platform experience, (4+ years).
  • Agile software development and implementation of CI//CD tools and pipelines (4+ years).
  • Adobe JCR database experience (4+ years).

Essential Job Functions:
  • Work with leadership and key business stakeholders evaluating trends and opportunities to establish data roadmaps.
  • Promote Ford IT technical objectives and standards across multiple teams.
  • Ensure technical solutions align with business goals and objectives that support long-term strategies.
  • Engage with internal development teams to guide, inform and influence architectural data alignment.
  • Design and document multi-layered solution architecture based on customer needs, incorporating business, application, data and infrastructure designs.
  • Support “OOTB or Custom” recommendations for Adobe Components and the development of prototype architecture solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership in emerging technologies to the Architecture team.
  • Provide technical direction to project teams to ensure appropriate and cost-effective application of Ford approved technologies.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Act as a technical advisor and point of escalation during epic lifecycles and analysis.
  • Review and analyze design to identify functions, relationships and patterns.
  • Translate business requirements documentation into data requirements and source-to-target data mappings.
  • Identify user requirements by researching and analyzing user needs, preferences, objectives, and working methods.
  • Plan and implement information architecture by identifying the site concept, strategy, and target audience, preparing prototypes and mockups.
  • Translate and evaluate user behavior and feedback, organizing data into media structure and elements.
  • Participate in the development of cross-functional business processes, identify alternative solutions, and recommend new approaches.
  • Look toward future AEC/AEM/AMC product releases and converge our approach for facilitating upgrades by reducing technical debt.
  • Have the capability to jump in with the developers or system administrators on all-hands troubleshooting events or root cause analysis .

Other Responsibilities:
  • Abide by the policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct of the company.
  • Co-exist balancing Ford Motor Company and FordDirect initiatives while embedded.
  • Handle personal information (“PI”) that pertains to any individual (e.g., leads, dealers, employees, job applicants, etc.) in accordance with FordDirect’s Privacy Policy and public facing privacy statements on FordDirect managed websites.
  • Complete any required training.
  • Promptly report any known or suspected loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure or use of PI to the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer or Chief Information Officer.
  • Adhere to the company’s compliance program.
  • Safeguard the company’s intellectual property, information, and assets.
