Description We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk in ANN ARBOR, Michigan. This role falls within the Service industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The role will involve various tasks related to accounts payable and requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage change and multi-task to meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives. Responsibilities: Manage the accounts payable inbox to review and verify invoices while identifying and researching any issues with invoices or required documentation Ensure accurate data entry of invoices for payment in a timely manner Review employee and contractor expense reports for accuracy according to expense and travel policies, approving or rejecting reports as necessary Work with contractors, employees, and approvers on expense report issues Update supplier information in the ERP system Assist with accrual process for month-end close procedures Develop strong working relations with both internal and external business partners Respond timely to accounts payable inquiries Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Expense Reports, Concur, Oracle, Enter Invoices, Code Invoices, Verify Invoices, Microsoft Excel, Accruals, Accrual Accounting Requirements Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and practices Experience with expense report processing Familiarity with Concur software Knowledge of Oracle financial software Ability to enter, code, and verify invoices accurately Proficient in Microsoft Excel Understanding of accruals and accrual accounting Detail-oriented and organized Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
