The Cardiac Cath Lab at Dearborn supports 4 procedural labs and 16 pre and post-procedure bays. As the referral center for the surrounding communities, we see and treat both elective and emergent patients with cardiac and vascular conditions. Utilizing the most up to date technology and supplies, the lab performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures, while specializing in high risk angioplasty with the use of heart support devices. In addition, we specialize in chronic total occlusions and structural heart procedures with in-lab TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement). The lab also performs numerous pacemaker implants, generator changes, loop recorder insertions, transesophageal echo and cardioversion procedures. Scope of Work The cath lab assistant nurse manager is to provide direct oversight and supervision of all cath lab staff and processes under the direction of the nurse leader. May assists nurse leader in staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Required Associate's Degree or equivalent Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
Preferred Master's Degree In nursing.
