Banquet Captain
Description:
We are seeking two enthusiastic and experienced Head Banquet Captains to join our team at Tina's Country House. As a lead banquet captain, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our busy reception hall during various events, including weddings, corporate functions, and celebrations.
Weekends are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of banquet service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead and train banquet staff, including servers and support staff, to maintain high service standards.
- Collaborate with the Banquet Manager and Kitchen Manager.
- Monitor food and beverage service to ensure quality and adherence to presentation standards.
- Maintain inventory and assist with setup, breakdown, and maintenance of banquet areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to guarantee timely service.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a banquet or food service role, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexible availability, particularly on weekends and during peak event seasons.
