Body - Vision Rear Lighting Engineer

We are seeking a Lighting Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of vehicle exterior lighting systems. This role will manage supplier collaboration, software implementation, and compliance testing, ensuring high-quality lighting components and systems are delivered on time.Key Responsibilities:

Develop truth tables, function maps, and vehicle function software with lighting suppliers

Execute validation using EE plywood buck, EE HIL, and vehicle-level testing at assembly plants

Calculate CO2 credits for LED lamps for regulatory compliance

Lead integration and validation of signal lighting and EE systems

Manage development, plywood buck, and vehicle validation for lighting compliance

Interface with supplier lighting ECUs, body controllers, and EE teams

Support CAN and LIN communication and KX Lighting EE development

Collaborate with local engineering teams, Architecture/Vehicle Concepts, program science teams, and PDO to launch exterior lighting components

Participate in meetings during North American work hours
