Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Otsego, Michigan. This role is essential to our operations, as you will be responsible for various bookkeeping and human resource duties including account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records Process customer credit applications efficiently Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis Handle office management duties such as answering phones, updating employee bulletin boards, and ordering office supplies Manage invoice processing for all jobs and receive customer payments Oversee payment of taxes and other liabilities as required Conduct regular monitoring of profit and loss statements and balance sheets Administer payroll bi-weekly and complete quarterly closings Handle human resources tasks such as new permanent paperwork, insurance paperwork, and tracking employee vacations and time-off requests. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Reconciliations Demonstrated experience in Bookkeeping Proficient in Data Entry tasks Strong skills in Microsoft Excel Ability to handle Month End Close procedures Experience in executing Payroll activities Familiarity with QuickBooks software Knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or field Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
