1: Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in finite Element Analysis.2: 3 years experience using ANSA & META POST Software for mesh generation, building of CAE models and post processing.3: 5 years experience performing FEA analysis using ABAQUS4: 3+ years Non linear Finite Element stress analyses (material, contact, large deformation)5: 3+ years Dynamic Finite Element analyses (modal and forced response)6: 3+ years Sealing analysis: modeling of gaskets7: 3+ years FEA based fatigue analysis (FE Safe experience is a plus)8: 3+ years Crashworthiness and explicit procedures9: Strong Knowledge on mechanical properties and failure mechanisms for plastics and metals and corresponding modeling in FEA codes.10: Strong written and oral communication skills needed for reports, presentations

DESIRED (not required) SKILLS::: Experience in Digimat, Moldex3D, FE Safe software

Duties and Responsibilities

== Support the Engineering team in developing functional products by performing CAE simulation to validate designs: products may include Engineering plastic parts such as Air Intake Manifold, Covers, Filters and metal parts such as cooling plates for EV applications.== Build CAE models, complete analyses, interpret results and make design recommendations to achieve robust and innovative solutions in the following fields: Structural, durability, sealing, NVH and others as required.== Complete projects per internal procedures and in timely manner.== Interact with the Design team and suppliers as needed to gather relevant data to perform simulations== Construct meshes and build simulation models in ANSA.== Contribute to the improvement of existing procedure and the development of new capabilities, methodologies and expertise== Develop the automation of pre processing and post processing to increase efficiency, robustness and accuracy of simulations using ANSA and METAPOST Software.== Contribute to the correlation work between physical test and simulation and make recommendations to improve simulation representativity and accuracy as needed.
