Capital Project Engineer (Field Based)

Project Site Location: Rochester, MI - full-time on project siteAs a Capital Project Engineer, you'll have the unique opportunity to work within an integrated Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm capable of executing ONEsolution integrated project delivery work. This diversity of professionals allows us to provide innovative & impactful solutions to the Life Sciences and Food & Bev industries in an era where speed, quality, and creativity have never been more critical. How will I contribute?You will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and other project team members in executing activities to support the construction of assigned capital projects and ensure the work is performed in conformance with the project objectives and requirements of the construction documents. Primary areas of responsibility include bidding support, executing the submittal and RFI review process, document control, verification of as-builts, supporting quality control, supporting site safety, executing equipment receiving process, managing closeout documentation, and supporting cost management activities. You will communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and will focus on capital projects related to pharmaceutical manufacturing, including existing renovations and retrofits. Responsibilities:Bid support and executing the submittal and RFI review processPartner with client stakeholders to scope out project requests, shepherd through the client's internal funding process, and facilitate coordination with external design and construction firms and trade partnersDocument controlVerification of as-builtsSupport quality control and site safetyExecute equipment receiving processManage closeout documentationSupport cost management activities
