The Capital Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the Project Manager and other project team members in executing activities to support the construction of assigned project(s) and to ensure the work performed is in conformance with the project objectives and the requirements of the construction documents. Primary areas of responsibility include bidding support, executing the submittal and RFI review process, document control, verification of as-builts, supporting quality control, supporting site safety, executing equipment receiving process, managing closeout documentation, and supporting cost management activities.How will I contribute:The Capital Project Engineer will report to the Senior Project Manager and Group Leader. They will be responsible to communicating with both internal and external stakeholders. Project sizes will vary and will consist primarily of pharmaceutical manufacturing projects, including existing renovations/retrofits and new construction.Support the Project Manager and other project team members in executing activities to support the construction of assigned project(s) and to ensure the work performed is in conformance with the project objectives and the requirements of the construction documentsBid support and executing the submittal and RFI review processDocument controlVerification of as-builtsSupport quality control and site safetyExecute equipment receiving processManage closeout documentationSupport cost management activities
