KLH Contracting is a rapidly growing Residential Building company located in Whitmore lake, Michigan. We are currently seeking new carpenters for our kitchen, bath and renovation teams. We are looking for dedicated team members ready to work in a fun, fast paced environment.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate must have 2-5 years experience with demo, framing & finish trim skills on interiors and exteriors, residential and some commercial building. Kitchen and bath remodeling experience is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery

Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and codes

Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately

Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

As an in-house carpenter, you will be responsible for crafting custom pieces, completing home renovation projects, and ensuring all work is of the highest quality

Construct and install framing, drywall, trim, tile, cabinetry, doors, windows and all finishes related to kitchen/bath and all major renovation jobs to include additions and custom homes.

Work with our project management team to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget

Maintain and repair existing structures and fixtures as needed

Keep an organized and clean work area, including tools and equipment

Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others

Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients throughout the project

Benefits

Pay: Starting at $22-28.00 per hour (based on experience)
